For our client in Schiphol Amsterdam we are looking for a J2EE Developer with HBO Higher Vocational Training) or University in Information Technology education.

Skills & knowledge

• A minimum of 3 years experience in commercial development projects
• Experienced with J2EE Java, spring hibernate
• Working knowledge of UML design and modern development methods
• Working knowledge of database technologies such as SQL and Oracle
• Good verbal and written skills in English
• Good communication and social skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work under (time) pressure

Role & Responsibilities

• Confer with business analysts, engineers and developers to design systems and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
• Identify complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
• Consult with clients about software system design and maintenance.
• Design, develop and modify software systems and measure outcome and consequences of design.
• Develop (user-) documentation.
• Work together with the testing team on validation procedures and documentation.
• Participate in the sales phase with the client and provide input into the proposal and advise of estimated quality effort.
