As Enterprise Sales Executive you will report to the CEO.

The Job

You manage the complete sales process in the assigned territory, which may include the following:

  • Develops and maintains senior-level relationships with E-Business and IT executives within target accounts
  • Develops a comprehensive sales plan to achieve sales quota that includes hunting of new prospects and farming of current customers
  • Creates and successfully executes sales capture plan per Opportunity.
  • Pro-actively identifies new opportunities and qualifies generated leads
  • Responds to RFIs and RFPs, leading the overall bid process.
  • Manages cooperation with pre-sales engineers and implementation specialists.
  • Active funnel management and creates and maintains a weekly product / services forecast
  • Follows best practices in sales processes/procedures
  • Assists with the development of new sales tools and presentations
  • Negotiates pricing & close contracts (in cooperation with senior management).
  • Ensures timely payment of invoices.

Your profile

The ideal candidate for this job, matches the following profile:

Experience with software solution sales and products similar to backbase's (portal software, web applications etc.) is vital! 

  • A 5-7 years successful sales track record in meeting or exceeding assigned individual quota between $1.5MM and $3.0MM
  • At least 3 years of relevant sales experience in eBusiness, Portal, CMS or eCRM software.
  • Must have experience selling software solutions to e-Business and IT executives.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills including strong presentation/demo skills both in person and via phone/web presentation
  • Strong technology skills. Must be able to do complete product demonstration and credibly discuss technical topics
