Greenpeace has always been advanced in the use of IT as a campaign tool as well as for internal use. We are confident IT will gain an even more important role in the future. As such we have set course on a modernization and upgrade of our systems on all levels, from infrastructure to applications, with the use of the most modern technologies.
The Greenpeace International IT unit in our Amsterdam office provides IT services to national and regional offices across Europe, the Americas, Asia & the Pacific and Africa. We are currently looking for a:
Functional Applications Manager
You will play an important role in our modernization program and will work with your colleagues of the IT team to manage all global applications offered and supported by Greenpeace International in order to ensure good quality, up to date and well supported systems.
You should hold a B.Sc. or University degree, preferably related to business processes. Next tot his you have a minimum of 5 years of work experience in application management. We expect you to have strong analytical skills and experience with documentation and training. Last but not least our ideal candidate is fluent in English, and preferably one other language, and has the ability to communicate well in an international and culturally diverse work environment.
